"OUR DEFENSE INDUSTRY COOPERATION WITH RIYADH"

Ankara-based Ramsa Defense, one of Turkey's leading companies in the field of defense industry, is taking an important step towards the Saudi Arabian market. This initiative, led by our company's General Manager Ramazan GÃœCÃœKTURALl, draws attention with the projects it will implement in the field of unmanned aerial and ground vehicles and weapon systems.

The investment of approximately 120 million dollars is combined with strategic projects to be carried out in Saudi Arabia. Within the scope of these projects, Turkish engineers and technicians will assume educator and leader roles in Saudi Arabia. Innovative technologies such as unmanned ground vehicles, a holster that prepares the gun for shooting in 0.3 seconds, and a robotic arm that will ease the burden of the soldier will form the basis of the projects.

Ramsa Defense aims to carry out major works at much more economical costs by using mass production technologies that will minimize costs. The company will also utilize its experience in developing customized products in line with the needs of Turkish security forces in the Saudi Arabian market.

Within the scope of the project, approximately one thousand people from Turkey will be employed for the systems to be implemented in Saudi Arabia. This employment will not only bring technical expertise, but also take on the role of an educator aiming to increase the competitiveness of Turkish engineers and technicians in the global defense sector.

Ramsa Defense plans to make larger and strategic investments in Turkey with the income obtained from the unmanned vehicles and weapon systems it will produce in Saudi Arabia. This step represents an important step taken in line with the vision of making the Turkish defense industry sector a more effective player globally.

With its decision to open to the Saudi Arabian market, Ramsa Defense stands out with the aim of establishing not only a cooperation but also a strong bond between the defense industry sectors of the two countries. This initiative, combined with innovative projects, employment and education-oriented strategies, aims to make significant contributions to both the Turkish and Saudi economies.
